Sparq Cannabis

Owner: Adams Grow
Architect: J&A Architectural
Area: 40,000 sqft
Duration: 10 Months
Project Type: Existing Building Renovation
Building Use: Cannabis Cultivation and Processing Facility
Renovating this old warehouse was particularly challenging due to the buildings age and the existing outdated infrastructure. A total replacement of the electrical system including a new transformer / switchgear and distribution, coupled with the same task for the plumbing and waste systems, added to an already complex project.
Extensive underground work was required not only to bring new water service from the street to the building but also the interior underground.
Aside from the MEP scope the interior buildout required heavy coordination of all trades. There were various structural items we needed to investigate, engineer, and implement. In the end the project was completed to the satisfaction of ownership and to the quality which has come to be expected by Kenco Development.
